Directions to Nancy's house:
Located in Charlestown, RI
From the South: 1-95 North to exit 92. Turn right on Rt.
2, follow to Rt. 78, and go east to Route 1 North. Take 1 North to the
East Beach Road, at the light, make a right--0.4 of a mile on East Beach Road to 161 B
which is on the right
From the North: 1-95 South to RI exit 9, Rt. 4. Rt. 4 merges
with Rt. l South, Continue until the East Beach Road,
exit. At the Church, turn left through the traffic light on Rt. 1 (East Beach Road)
for 0.4 of a mile on East Beach Road to 161 B which is on
the right. There is a flag with flowers and the word WORMS on it.
Directions to Lois's house:
FROM 95 North:
Take Exit 92 (last exit in
Connecticut). Make
a right turn at the light onto Route 2 East.
Go one mile and turn right onto Route 78.
Go to the first traffic light (approximately 5 miles) and turn left onto
Route 1 toward Charlestown.
Travel on Route 1 for approximately 10 miles and watch for landmarks on
your right of Tim
Horton's coffee shop, General Stanton Inn and Phil and Ann’s Motel.
***** Exit right on Narrow Lane (sign not always there!), just in front of
Dunkin’ Donuts.
Go straight across the first stop sign, go down to the end of the street
and turn left on Matunuck Schoolhouse Road.
Take your first right onto Charlestown Beach Road.
Go less than a mile and make a right turn onto Arches Road (a stone arch
is at the entrance.
Go straight onto a dirt road and follow it as it curves around to the
right and becomes Pequot.
Ours is the third driveway on the left with signs MANNA
FARM on a red pail and sign that says Bunnies for Sale.
WELCOME, you have arrived..
(Don’t be confused – the front of the house is on Safford Drive, but
you will be using our driveway off Pequot!)
FROM 95 South:
Take Exit 9, Route 4 South.
Follow Route 4 and it will become Route 1.
Stay on Route 1 past Wakefield and Narragansett, past Beach Road exits.
Shortly after Green Hill Beach Road exit, you will see a green road sign
designating the town of Charlestown.
Move into your left lane and make the second left which is Charlestown
Beach and Breachway.
You will
do a U turn and head north briefly.
